Kampfabzeichen Ärmelschild Kuban, Kubanschild
Kuban shield, two piece (with backing plate),
instituted in September 1943 and awarded to Wehrmacht forces who fought at the Kuban bridgehead in Southwest Russia from February until October 1943.
It was worn on the left upper arm. In the case of more campaign shields the earlier was worn above the later decoration.
