The name stands for: SCHO Kolade KA ffee KOLA Nuss. The brand was created in 1935 by the Hildebrand, Kakao- und Schokoladenfabrik GmbH Company in Berlin and launched at the the Olympic Games 1936. It was a much appreciated treat for German soldiers.
For a quick campfire hot chocolate place 250 ml milk, 6 wedges of scho-ka-kola and a tablespoon of sugar in a small pan and heat over low heat until the chocolate has melted, stirring all the time.
Pour into a cup and drink.
